Don't be caught unprepared

The past two hurricane seasons have been kind to Murrells Inlet SC. We hope that it remains this way but we do not want to be caught off guard. Here are a few informative pointers to protect yourself, family, and Murrells Inlet home: Hurricane season seems to be most active during August but runs from June to November. There are tropical storm, hurricane, and coastal flood watches and warnings. A watch implies that conditions are favorable within the next 36 hours. A warning means the storm is expected within 12 or 24 hours. Prior to a storm ensure that you have plenty of non perishable food, that doesn’t need to be cooked, water, working flashlights and radios with batteries, a full tank of gas, well charged cell phones, if possible extra cell phone batteries.
